TWICE member Dahyun will be making her acting debut!

Ever since TWICE renewed their contracts with JYP Entertainment in August 2022, the members have started expanding their horizons with solo activities. Jihyo and Nayeon debuted as soloists, while Mina, Momo, and Sana debuted as a trio, MISAMO. Now, Dahyun is taking the next step in her career with her acting debut.

TWICE Dahyun To Make Much-Anticipated Acting Debut

TWICE member Dahyun will be taking the leap into acting for the first time since her debut.

According to an exclusive report from Korean media outlet DongA, TWICE member Dahyun was offered a role in the independent feature film, "Power Run" (tentative title). With that, the female idol is slated to tackle acting for the first time since her debut through this film.

To make it even more special, Dahyun is notably the first member of TWICE to make her acting debut.

"Power Run" is an independent feature film in the sports drama genre. It is directed by Lee Seung Hoon. Currently, it is unknown who Dahyun will be acting with. Keep tuned for more updates on Dahyun's upcoming acting venture!

On July 17, TWICE is scheduled to release their fifth full-length Japanese album, "DIVE."

Later that month, TWICE is set to return with their "READY TO BE" world tour, which includes stadium performances in Japan. On July 13 and 14, TWICE will perform at Yanmar Stadium Nagai in Osaka. They will also perform at the Ajinomoto Stadium in Tokyo from July 20 and 21.

TWICE will become the first overseas (non-Japanese) female artists to perform at the Nissan Stadium in Kanagawa. They will perform there on July 27 and 28.

Back on February 23, TWICE dropped their 13th Korean mini-album, "With YOU-TH," alongside its lead single, "ONE SPARK." Before that, TWICE unveiled the single "I GOT YOU" on February 2 as a pre-release single. The album became TWICE'sfifth top-ten album, and the third by a K-pop girl group to hit number one after BLACKPINK and NewJeans.
