t seems like a long time since actor Yoo Seung Ho enlisted but he will soon be released from his mandatory military duty. The actor will attend his military dismissal ceremony in Kangwon-Do on Dec. 4.

All Korean males are required to serve up to two years of military duty between the ages of 18 and 35. Many actors prefer to wait until they are older and have established their acting careers. Yoo Seung Ho was unusual in that he chose to serve his duty at a young age.

Yoo was only 19 when he enlisted but he has been acting since he was nine so his career was already well established. He has appeared in two-dozen dramas and almost a dozen films, winning almost a dozen awards.
