Reviving the best years of thrashers and skateboarders everywhere, after Activision introduced the "Tony Hawk Pro Skater" series in the gaming consoles, a release date and news about the new "Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5" have been revealed.

In a recent report by Red Bull, an interview with Robomodo president Joshua Tsui revealed how excited they are to take the game to the next level by releasing the game for the next generation of consoles.

"We love the genre, and we take a lot of pride in bringing it to the newest consoles," Tsui said. "We never looked at it as setting the bar or anything like that. For us, it's really just about making a great experience that people will love."

In line with the announcement of the release date of "Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5," it was also hinted by Tony Hawk himself in a Digital Spy report that the upcoming game would be a continuation of the past installations of the skateboarding title.

"I feel like the new consoles have become established, and we can bring back a nostalgic feel for the fans," Hawk said.

"[We can] update it in terms of gameplay, look and motion, and create a new online community which is something we didn't have in the past. We had a skatepark editor and we had some online elements, but nothing that is so rich as it is now."

With all the fans of the series excited, "Tony Hawk Pro Skater 5" release date is scheduled to happen on Sept. 29, 2015.
