Goo Hye-Sun appear in photo shoot for KWave Magazine for Cheongju Craft Biennale

Actress Goo Hye-Sun will appear in the latest photo shoot for KWave Magazine, the global Korean culture magazine. She shows an elegant image in a classic dress with a vintage look.

Goo is pictured wearing a dress designed by Lie Sang-Bong, a renowned Korean fashion designer, as reported by KNS TV. The dress is designed to give a vintage look with the hat as an accent.

Lie Sang-Bong is dubbed as the "Korean Alexander McQueen" due to his unique style and design. However, Lie is one of the few designers in the world who are able to combine aesthetic beauty and practical aspect in design. His dresses have been worn by many Hollywood celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Beyonde, Rihanna and Lady Gaga.

The photos is taken in the spirit of Cheongju Craft Biennale, according to report by JTBC News, as the the 61-year old designer is the ambassador of the event. The biennale is held once in two years to showcase artworks from Korean and international artists.

Cheongju, which has been the venue for the event since 2001 is a city situated in the central region of South Korea. Last year’s biennale exhibited the theme of “Expansion & Coexistence” and took place in the Cheongju Art Factory, which was a former tobacco processing plant.

The photoshoot features another apperance of Goo, who just married last May with fellow actor Ahn Jae-hyun (Cinderella and Four Knights). Goo met Ahn, her co-star during the shooting of KBS drama “Blood” in 2015, then dated for about a year before deciding to marry.

After their wedding, Ahn played in the tvN drama “Cinderella and Four Knights” and a Chinese romantic comedy movie “Perfect Imperfection” with Taiwanese actress Ady An. Goo didn’t take any drama projects this year, focussing on photoshoots only.
