It turns out the feeling is not one-sided since "My Girl" actor is also hoping that he and Gong Yoo could reunite in another comedic scene in the future.

Until now, "Goblin" remains as one of the most-watched dramas of all time. Not only does the romance between Kim Shin the Goblin and Ji Eun Tak contribute to the success, an unlikely friendship between the Grim Reaper and the Goblin is also something that viewers cherish.

Lee Dong Wook shared his thought about his friendship with Gong Yoo during a fan meeting event. The Grim Reaper actor shared to Soompi he and Gong Yoo actually has been longing for each other ever since the drama ended. When asked if he would like to reunite with Gong Yoo in his future project, Lee Dong Wook stated he wouldn't hesitate to accept the role.

"Of course. That would be great. After the drama finished, Gong Yoo and I joked if we ever got another chance to work again," said the actor.

Given some of the comedic scenes that Lee Dong Wook shared with "Train to Busan" actor in the tvN hit drama, the actor mentioned that the best genre he and Gong Yoo could possibly nail is a comedy. "I think it will be fun to do something more comic in the future since we engaged in a lot of banters in "Goblin"," added Lee Dong Wook as cited by IBT.
