The Biggest Crisis to BIGBANG, Will G-Dragon and Taeyang Continue Their Solo Activity? T.O.P Knows the Answer

YG Entertainment has no plans to cancel G-Dragon and Taeyang's solo album and concerts even amid BIGBANG rapper T.O.P's current medical condition. The label made the announcement that it will proceed according to schedule as it juggles its concerns with T.O.P's case.

According to a report by Naver Entertainment, YG has not made an announcement to cancel the upcoming schedules of BIGBANG members G-Dragon and Taeyang. G-Dragon is set to release his comeback album today, June 8, and kick off his world tour on June 10.

"At present, there is no plan to postpone G-Dragon's comeback, and the World Tour will be conducted as planned," A YG representative told the site. YG has been teasing G-Dragon's solo comeback for months after BIGBANG went on a temporary hiatus following T.O.P's enlistment last February. Taeyang has also been working on his solo album while Daesung has already released his Japanese mini album "D-Day" to great success on the Japanese Oricon chart.

BIGBANG leader G-Dragon will be kicking off his "Act III: MOTTE" will kick off at the Seoul World Cup Stadium and proceed to 19 cities in Asia, the US, Australia, and Japan until September. Taeyang's album will be released shortly after G-Dragon, according to YG boss Yang Hyun Suk and he will also be holding his "SOL Japan Stadium Tour 2017" in Japan this August.

However, with T.O.P recently caught in a drug controversy after he was found positive for marijuana in a drug test conducted by the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency last March, fans are worried whether this will affect the schedules of G-Dragon and Taeyang. Aside from the T.O.P.'s indictment, the eldest BIGBANG member was also rushed to the hospital on June 6 and remains unconscious and in critical condition at the intensive care unit after a huge amount of anti-anxiety drug benziodiazepine was found in his system, Kpopstarz reported.
