SEVENTEEN Lights Up New York For '2017 SEVENTEEN 1ST WORLD TOUR "DIAMOND EDGE" IN NORTH AMERICA!'

In a venue so jam packed from the ground floor to two stories up, nothing compares to the screams and excitement fans have held in to see SEVENTEEN perform on stage.

Held on Sunday, Aug. 27, at the infamous Terminal 5 in New York, the Pledis' idol group brought the moves and grooves for an energetic and fun show on their last U.S. stop for thier '2017 SEVENTEEN 1ST WORLD TOUR "DIAMOND EDGE" IN NORTH AMERICA!'

Opening up the show in personally-colored suits, SEVENTEEN's stage presence resonates unity as they create a colorful ensemble, dancing in sync to their hit tracks such as "Pretty U," "Beautiful," and their debut single "Adore U."

Considering the last time SEVENTEEN has made their way here was for KCON NY 2016, seeing their own headlining tour goes to show how far the group has come within a span of one year.

With performances by subgroups, well-produced concert visuals and lightshows, and constant fan service, there is no denying SEVENTEEN's ongoing and rapidly growing fanbase. For three hours, Carats (and some of their parents), witnessed powerful performances showcasing the groups versatility and fluidity in genres. Peforming pop-powered tracks to heartwarming ballads and transitioning into heavy trap beats, this show was not for a faint of heart but a thrill ride for the fans.

As someone who went into the concert not too familiar with SEVENTEEN music than most, if you were to ask what stages stood out besides the group performances, it would definitely have to be the SEVENTEEN's Hip-Hop team. Bringing a perfectly balanced fusion of K-Pop and western hip-hop/trap music, to say fans in the house went wild is an understatement during these stages. Let alone their song "Check-In" when they emphasized their current location in New York City.

The Pledis idol group brilliantly ended their show with a two-part encore by performing their hits "Don't Wanna Cry," "Shining Diamond," and "Healing." Coming out in matching sky blue and pink shirts, SEVENTEEN ended their last U.S. stop with complete satisfaction as they gave as much fanservice to Carats in the room.

SEVENTEEN officially ended the North American leg of the 'Diamond Edge' tour and will be continuing in Jakarta, Singapore, Taipei, and the Philippines until the beginning of October.
