The shocking news was revealed earlier today in Korea as fans were surprised to discover that veteran actor Jo Duk Jae was charged and found guilty of sexually molesting his co-star. The case has been on-going for quite some time, and two years later it as finally come to a conclusive end.

In April of 2015, an actress reported that Jo Duk Jae had grabbed her without consent while on set. He initiated the molestation by putting his hands down her pants and even began tearing off her underwear. Despite the issue, Jo Duk Jae stated he was innocent and merely "following the director's orders."

Ultimately, he was found guilty on October 13 and was sentenced to 1 year in prison, 2 years of probation, and 40 hours of a sexual violence treatment program. During the trial, the actor still pleaded innocent b saying, "I have a family. How can I shamelessly sexually attack someone when so many staff members are watching me?" He further added, "On the day of the second trial, I immediately submitted an appeal to the Supreme Court. If justice is alive, the Supreme Court will prove my innocence." 

In response to all that had occurred, the victim expressed her final thoughts saying, "I saw that Jo Duk Jae revealed his own name and came out with his opinion in an interview. I'm taken aback and bitter. He's already received a verdict, but he's saying the court made the wrong judgment? ...He said he'll be filing an appeal. The case will go to the Supreme Court now, and I'll be holding a press conference soon."
