K-pop Teen Choice Awards

As the annual Teen Choice Awards in FOX Television Network is about to take place within two months, their official twitter (@TeenChoiceFOX) already announced at exactly 12 midnight of June 4 that they will give the netizens a chance to nominate the deserving solo and group artists in a certain category they prefer.

And of course, the ever-supporting fandom of the world, a.k.K-pop fans, did not let this slip away! As soon as they knew about the nomination, they tweeted their bets (in volume) or whoever artist is they thought the most deserving in that certain category. The fandoms took this seriously, that it even made the "Teen Choice Awards" got trending on Twitter.

This annual awards night that will be held on 11th of August will also be celebrating its 21st Anniversary this year, and fans have been feeling that the democratic nomination is one of their promotions for the upcoming celebration.

In the year 1999 of August 1, the FOX television network, led by Executive Produces Bob Bain and Michael Burg, initiated to formulate an awarding show that caters the young adults (aging 16-19) as the audience. Through this type of demographic, they had foreseen that it will be a hit, especially when that age bracket is the most updated with regards to the latest song, sports, and film. The concept of the show was to recognize and give trophies to those outstanding individuals in the said entertainment fields.

Having many awards to cater to the artists will be beneficial for the program since it lets the viewers choose the most applicable category to their desired artists.
