SM reveals EXO, f(x), SuJu, Girls' Generation Won't be Complete at SMTOWN Live 2019

After their concert in Osaka, SM Entertainment artists are slated to meet their plethora of fans in Tokyo for yet another whopping three-day show. The announcement of SMTOWN Live 2019 was made on its Japan website, which also confirmed that some members of SM groups won't be able to partake due to conflict of schedules and enlistment.

The initial poster revealed that EXO, BoA, Super Junior, f(x), TVXQ, Girls' Generation, SHINee, Kangta, Red Velvet, NCT 127, NCT Dream, and J-Min will be joining. However, the agency confirmed that EXO's D.O. and Lay won't be able to participate due to voluntary enlistment and conflicting schedule, respectively.

Girls' Generation's Yuri, Super Junior's Kim Heechul, and Victoria from f(x) share the same plight as Lay. SHINee's Onew, Key, and Minho are currently serving the military; hence, only Taemin will attend.

These being said, SM Entertainment included an apology through the notice to fans and asked for their understanding about the matter.

In the latest poster, Sunday and CSJH The Grace's Dana were revealed to be joining the three-day concert, which will run from August 3 to 5, 2019.

A string of shows and concerts also successfully capped off while some are scheduled to kick off this year. Son Tae-jin, the Phantom Singer Winner, recently announced his upcoming solo show titled "One Summer Night" on July 21. The concert will take place at Blue Square Eye Market Hall.

"K-Pop Kings" EXO finally unveiled the dates of EXO Planet #5: EXplOration. The two three-day concerts will come about at Olympic Gymnastics Arena from July 19 to 21, while the second week will be from July 26 to 28. EXplOration announcements were disclosed an hour after SM Entertainment confirmed D.O.'s voluntary enlistment.

Only six members of the supergroup are expected to take part in the long-awaited concert series, with Xiumin and D.O.'s enlistment, while Chinese member Lay is not yet confirmed to join the rest. Moreover, one of the stops of Lay's solo concert, Grand Line, falls under the EXplOration's second day.

Meanwhile, both Taeyon and Luna recently held their respective solo concerts. The Girls' Generation member concluded her first Japan tour in April and is still currently touring in The Land of The Rising Sun.

The f(x) member also culminated her concert "The Fragrance of Luna" last May 26, and made headlines as her fellow members Krystal and Amber surprised her by showing up. Fans were delighted upon the presence of the two showing support to their co-member.
