THE BOYZ, consisting of Sangyeon, Jacob, Younghoon, Hyunjae, Juyeon, Kevin, New, Q, Ju Haknyeon, Hwall, Sunwoo, and Eric, are rising stars in the Kpop world. Having debuted only in late 2017, these twelve young boys with huge ambition have already clinched several rookie awards and even a music show win for their recent hit single 'Bloom Bloom'. KpopStarz had the pleasure of meeting THE BOYZ at their Open Press Conference, held at Gain City, just a day before their fan-con, 'The Castle', in Singapore.

Immediately upon gracing the stage, we were stunned momentarily by the huge stage presence that these twelve members possessed, both individually and collectively. With their radiant smiles, they greeted fervent fans with matched enthusiasm.

When asked about their view of Singapore, the members showcased positive expressions of approval. Many emphasized that their impression of Singapore was largely influenced by the Hollywood Blockbuster, 'Crazy Rich Asians'. In particular, Younghoon also mentioned that this was actually his second time coming to Singapore, having traveled to our little red dot back in his school days.

In response to future plans, THE BOYZ has expressed interest in experimenting with a sexy concept, which is a welcome change from the youthful, summer image that they have been portraying thus far in their Hallyu journey. Would fans be able to take it?

One of the main highlights of the mini get-to-know-the-members game included the question, "Who was the funniest member?" to which many fingers were pointed towards Sunwoo's direction. They explained that Sunwoo's acute observation skills allowed him to pick up and remember the funny traits of every member, thus essentially making him a vessel of THE BOYZ' sense of humor and comical moments.

Additionally, it warmed all our hearts when THE BOYZ said that they enjoy spending rare moments of free time hanging out together as a group, truly underscoring the tight bond that these twelve boys share that extends beyond screentime.

To wrap up, BTS and EXO have been named as their role models, shining beacons of light whose achievements and milestones they aim to work towards. Through this interview, we have witnessed firsthand how dazzling and genuine their personalities are, proving that they are more than just pretty faces and performers. We strongly believe that THE BOYZ has consistently displayed unlimited potential and will definitely go far in their voyage ahead.
