The girl group's record label, Source Music, said that "GFRIEND will make a comeback and release their seventh mini-album 'Fever Season' this month of [July]. This new album was prepared after contemplating how GFRIEND can grow in a new way, so we ask for your interest."

The new album, Fever Season, may actually pay homage to the group's debut album, Season of Glass.

GFRIEND's July comeback will be their first comeback in six months following the release of their second full album, Time for Us, in January 2019.

Fever Season looks to express the hot summer season, as well as GFRIEND's passion and determination they will showcase for the performances for this release.

Prior to this comeback, the girl group recently began their 2019 Asia Tour, "GFRIEND 2019 Asia Tour [Go Go GFRIEND!" in Seoul, South Korea.

The group is also set to fly to Kuala Lumpur (June 29), Singapore (July 20), Bangkok (July 27), Hong Kong (August 3), Jakarta (August 23), Manila (August 25), Taipei (August 31) and Yokohama (November 17) for the said tour.

This would mark GFRIEND's second Asia Tour.

Debuting in 2015, GFRIEND is a six-member girl group from Source Music. They debuted with the single "Glass Bead".

The music video for Glass Bead ranked number nine in YouTube's "Most Viewed K-Pop Videos Around the World in January 2015".

Following their debut, they released "Me Gustas Tu" for their second EP, Flower Bud.

The group gained international attention after a fan-taken video of September 2015 circulated online showed that the girls continued performing even after multiple slips mid-performance due to the slippery stage.

GFRIEND gained their first music show win on January 2016 with "Rough" from the third EP, Snowflake. "Rough" completes the group's High School concept trilogy.

In June 2016, GFRIEND released their first studio album, LOL (Laughing Out Loud or Lots of Love), with the title track "Navirella" which went for an 80s concept.

Among other GFRIEND's singles include: "Fingertip", "Love Whisper", "Love Rain", "Time for the Moon Night", "Sunny Summer" and "Sunrise"

The group had their first fan meeting in April 2017 named "Dear Buddy".

In 2018, GFRIEND kicked off their first concert "Season of GFRIEND" which also flew to some Asian countries.

They also released their first Japanese album in the same year called "Memoria (Time for the Moon Night)".

GFRIEND's members are Sowon, Yerin, Eunha, Yuju, SinB, and Umji.

We wish GFRIEND good luck for their summer comeback!
