After clinching the trophy, ITZY expressed their gratitude to their songwriter and fans.

"Thank PD Park Jin Young for writing this song for us, thank the company staff members. We also love Midzy (fanclub). Thank you," the quintet said.

ICY is the first produced song by JYP Entertainment's big man himself, Park Jin Young, for the girl group, dubbing it as "the summer song of 2019." In the music video, the five girls separately strutting on the streets, in the corridor of a presumed hotel, and inside a diner, while dressed in streetwears and glitzy attires in other scenes. By the looks of it, the MV's setting was documented overseas.

During the episode, other performances were also held. The thirteen-piece outfit Seventeen left their fans in awe with their comeback stage after 7 months. They performed their new track HIT, appearing on stage dressed in a red and black combination that immediately captured the attention of the audience, especially with their relentless killer dance moves.

Seventeen has long since been recognized as "self-producing idols," which definitely means all members have been entirely hands on to the process of polishing their new single. HIT is an upbeat track that conveys an explosive vibe, along with the intense melody that makes its listeners feel it indeed slaps.

Oh My Girl charmed the audience with their looks as if they were summer fairies while performing their new song BUNGEE. The electronic track features uplifting guitar riffs and rhythmic beats, not to mention the sweet, melodious vocals of the septet. The girls showed up clad in navy-blue-hued costumes, blessing the vision of the viewers.

Then, it was TRCNG's turn after over a year of hiatus. The 10 boys performed their new song MISSING, a pop dance track that fuses the lyrical melody and each of the members' emotional input to their vocals, overall creating a raw and mature sound.

The newly-debuted girl group under Woollim Entertainment, Rocket Punch, also delivered a performance with their debut track Bim Bam Bum. The group flaunted their live singing skills as if they aren't rookies. This just proves they're definitely a new group to watch out for!

Other than the aforementioned groups, CIX, NCT Dream, Verivery, Shin Hyun Hee, 1Team, GWSN, Fanatics, and many others performed in the same episode.
