Stylist and editor who exposed the power-tripping scandal of Red Velvet Irene's had made a follow-up and final statement regarding the issue.

On Friday, Editor Kang posted a lengthy message on her Instagram account, clarifying some of the details about the scandal, and shared that Red Velvet's Irene, along with her managers, apologized personally.

The Editor wrote, "I'm already in pain, and this damage will never be forgotten. However, I wanted to receive an apology personally from C (Red Velvet Irene) as I am a human being who has dignity, and I did reach out to C along with the managers from B (SM Entertainment). It is a process of coordination and timing prior to our meeting yesterday's meeting."

"The reason why I didn't make any step following my first post is that I have to make a reasonable and wise choice at everything to prepare for this kind of situation."

Adding, "Also, one of the major reasons is that I didn't want it to grow into a bigger issue, as well as I don't want to add fuel to the fire, which can create more speculations and events that become out of control."

Editor Kang Kook Hwa also clarified why they didn't expose it immediately after the incident. Apparently, the issue broke out after confirmation of Red Velvet Irene's debut film, "Double Patty," and schedules with Red Velvet - making other fans doubt her intentions of exposing the idol.

"After the negative encounter, I believe that there is no reason to act in haste as the officials from B company who hired me as well as the managers present in the event apologized to me in place for her."

"I am not and never have been a stylist for C's group, (Red Velvet), and I only worked as a commissioned worker to style the filming schedule on October 20, from an outsourcing offer."

The stylist and editor clarified that she received the job offer through email on October 5, and received the official information the next day, making him prepare for 15 days onwards.

Furthermore, fans and netizens are also skeptical with the editor's statement saying that it is not the first time that they meet, and in fact, the editor posted in the past how beautiful and good a person Irene is (which is said to be deleted now.)

However, Stylist Kang addressed that issue as well, saying, "The explanation why I said "the first time I met someone) is because I didn't recall that I and C had a photoshoot for a magazine in 2016 (which I only confirmed at the meeting yesterday), and additionally, the situation didn't just affect me but as well as the junior editor and assistant who accompanied me with my schedule on that day."

Meanwhile, Kang then shared the people involved, came to the place with him, and received the direct apology from Irene, and also talked with SM Entertainment officials as to what is going to happen, given that the situation became huge.

Editor Kang also gave the affirmation that they won't be responding to any negative and reckless remarks from Irene's fans, and revealed that they will also stop after getting a response from Irene that she won't do that to anyone anymore, as well as they got the apology that they wanted.

They also want to clarify the rumors circulating that they allegedly received money and stated that there is no such thing as that, as the meeting yesterday is solely to receive an apology and not to reach an agreement or negotiations.

"I had to protect myself until the end. Since it will not gain me anything to be taking unfounded and groundless attacks indiscriminately from senseless people, I also asked SM Entertainment (B) and Irene (C) for an official apology, acknowledging their mistakes, apologies, and promise that there will not be incidents like this in the future, to avoid further misunderstanding. Also, this will be my final statement in the position of this issue."

"I am only one person. I have lived up to my ethics and do my best in this field, no matter what I do. I also make mistakes and I am a bad person or a good person to some and others. It would be the same for Irene, but that is beyond my personal business. As we are doing our work professionally as requested, it is an act of insult for both my colleagues that's why we acted to restore and protect our dignity."

"I will try to overcome this scar somehow and bring myself back to my place in the future and live again. And I am not doing this for myself. It's not for me, but for Irene, who was present there yesterday. So, if you're a true fan of Irene, don't cross the line anymore and stop. Such writings do not hurt me at all and only affect her negatively."

To conclude his statement, the editor also expressed that he will also act against the person who is trying to invade his personal space and information.

"The writing got longer. From my point of view, I had no choice but to write this message. I personally deeply apologize to B company officials for creating a tiring job. Lastly, I would like to ask those who are reading this. Please stop speculative writing and articles that will end up hurting everyone even more. Thank you."
