A Reddit post about a husband and wife going through marriage troubles after a TXT concert is going viral!

TXT fans, also known as MOAs, are passionate about their love for the boy group. With the members' abundant charms and talents, it's hard not to fall in love with them. While most people's significant others would be alright with their partner loving TXT, it seems that's not the case for all couples.

MOA May Have 'Ruined' Her Marriage for TXT Beomgyu

On April 30, 2024, a K-pop fan shared a screenshot from Reddit, asking the community if he was the a*sh*le in the situation.

In the title, he asks if he is the jerk for not liking a concert his wife took him to. His wife, who is 22 years old, surprised her husband, who is 24 years old, with tickets to a TXT concert. The two love going to concerts together, and though he did not know the group, it appears going to concerts with his wife is not a new occurrence.

His wife notably had a great time at the concert and was screaming, "I love you, Choi Beomgyu!" (or, in his words, "Khoi Beumgyo"). The fact that his wife was screaming over the boy group was already setting him off, but he truly snapped when his wife started professing her love for her favorite member.

According to the poster, Beomgyu noticed his wife. The idol supposedly smiled at her and flashed her a finger.

While on the way home, the husband asked why she yelled "I love you" to "another man." His wife tried to shrug it off, saying that he's just a singer and it's no big deal. However, her husband didn't see it that way and asked his wife, "How are you going to say you love someone you don't know so easily?"

The question set her off, and she called her husband an a*sh*ole. When they arrived at their home, she called her friend to pick her up, and she stayed the night with them. Soon, her friends sent messages to the poster, calling him a jerk and saying that he simply doesn't get it.

This left the poster confused, and I wondered if he should not have said what he did. As of writing, there is no resolution to the problem.

MOAs React to Post of Marriage Crumbling Due to TXT Beomgyu

The post immediately went viral on X (formerly Twitter). As of writing, the post has over 330,000 views, 12,000 likes, and 2,400 retweets.

Many were on the wife's side, saying they totally understood why she reacted that way over Beomgyu. Others joked that they were even willing to break up with their partners and divorce their spouses if Beomgyu smiled at them and flashed a finger!

Others commented that, as her husband, she sees him every day and professes her love for him. Beomgyu, however, is her bias. As her husband, he should respect that and not stop her from loving a K-pop idol.
