Flovers Demand More Exposure for fromis_9 Due To Group's 'Underrated' Live Vocals
Fans are demanding more comebacks and promotions for fromis_9.
HYBE is currently on a rough patch inside the K-pop community since a few groups under the company have been criticized for their live singing skills.
The fiasco was also fanned by the situation regarding LE SSERAFIM's Coachella stage, which drew domestic and international coverage. While some defended the group's performance and gave constructive criticism, others simply produced forced hate against the quintet.
The backlash also reached out on LE SSERAFIM's official SNS, including their group and solo Instagram accounts, and every post related to them has been smeared with unfavorable remarks one way or another.
Apart from LE SSERAFIM's Coachella stage, HYBE's fifth-gen girl group ILLIT also faced backlash for their encore stages during music show programs.
The discourse eventually reached a point where netizens have claimed that HYBE is slowly "destroying" the K-pop industry by mass-producing acts with shorter training periods. This also sparked a discussion that questioned the industry's current standards of live performances.
However, on social media platform X (Twitter), fans have called out HYBE and demanded the company pay more attention to fromis_9. The fourth-gen girl group debuted in 2018 and is under PLEDIS Entertainment, which is now a subsidiary of HYBE Labels.

Their last comeback was released on June 5, 2023, when the girls dropped their first-ever full album "Unlock My World" and its title track "#menow." Since then, the group hasn't had a comeback despite the rallies of Flovers online.
