SS501-turned-actor Kim Hyun Joong updated on his recent status as a corn farmer. While this is a respectable work, people started mocking him.
In his recent SNS post, Kim Hyun Joong shared his photos along with the caption, "Rural life that somehow began."
In the published photo, Kim Hyun Joong is looking at the camera while wearing a hat designed to block the sunlight. Attention is drawn to his appearance, which looks like any ordinary farmer.
Fans are truly surprised as this is in contrast to his "prince-like" image during his heyday. Back when he was still active as SS501 and as an actor, he was loved for his dashing looks.
At the time, he was known for his notable works such as Yoon Ji Hoo in "Boys Over Flowers and Baek Seung Jo in "Mischievous Kiss."
Wearing farming attire with his bare face, Kim Hyun Joong continued:
"I sincerely respect those who are engaged in agriculture. Please check out my rural story on YouTube. When the corn is fully grown, I will share it with my subscribers."
His supporters also cheered on him, saying:

On the flip side, there are internet users who are mocking him after he decided to become a corn farmer.
In the comment section, web commenters made fun of him saying:

In particular, the comments are an indirect mention of Kim Hyun Joong's assault case with his ex-girlfriend.
In 2014, he was embroiled in a legal battle after his ex-girlfriend accused him of assaulting her. At the time he was also involved in a paternity suit over a child claimed to be his child to his ex-girlfriend.
As his legal battle continued, he was acquitted of assault charges, with his cell phone serving as crucial evidence.
