Sofia Vergara and Joe Manganiello Engaged: ‘Modern Family’ Star Keeps Fans Guessing With Huge Diamond Ring

When Sofia Vergara stepped out on Monday wearing a glittery diamond ring on her engagement finger, the media quickly speculated that the 'Modern Family' star may have said "yes" to her "True Blood" actor boyfriend, Joe Manganiello.  

However, Vergara seemingly put rumors of a proposal to rest when she tweeted a photo of the ring in question, revealing that the sparkler is from her new collection at Kay Jewelers.

"I'm very happy romantically," Vergara told People Magazine earlier this month. "It couldn't be better!"

Nevertheless, it seems wedding bells are not in the air quite yet for Vergara and her hunky boyfriend Manganiello.

The "Chef" actress posted the paparazzi photo of her Monday outfit, which consisted of jeans, a white T-shirt, and the purplish diamond ring, to her Twitter page, alongside a Kay Jewelers press image of the ring.

According to the Kay website, the ring that had people talking is the Amethyst/Diamonds 10K Rose Gold, which retails for just under $1,200.

The couple recently attended a Justin Timberlake concert together at the Staples Center in Los Angeles, their affection for each other reportedly on display.

E! News claims and onlooker said, "Joe and Sofia looked so into each other. Sofia would whisper in his ear and giggle. She wrapped her arm around Joe and he nuzzled her neck. They were kissing and cuddling like they could keep their hands off each other."

Manganiello, who was named "Hottest Bachelor" by People Magazine this year, has earned the stamp of approval from Vergara's "Modern Family" castmates.

"I think they're super hot together," Sarah Hyland told People in July. "They'll have really hot babies."

Although the pair is not set to tie the knot, the two have quickly become one of Hollywood's most popular couples.

Manganiello even revealed in an interview with On Air With Ryan Seacrest that Vergara was literally his dream girl before the two got together.

The actor, who told People Magazine that Vergara was his celebrity crush, admitted to Seacrest that he had forgotten about that until the Magazine hit stands.

"When the magazine came out, by that time, we were seeing each other and when I got the magazine and opened it up and read it, I forgot I said that. I started laughing," confessed Manganiello. "She was laughing at me. She thought that I was crazy for having said that out loud or said it in the magazine, but you know, I guess it worked."
