Amanda Peet is Pregnant! Actress Shows Off Baby Bump On 2014 Emmy’s Red Carpet As ‘Game Of Thrones’ Creator Husband, David Benioff, Prepares For Big Night With 19 Nominations

It's baby number three for Amanda Peet! The actress revealed that she is pregnant with her third child on the red carpet for the 2014 Emmy Awards.

Peet and husband David Benioff, creator of the HBO series "Game of Thrones" announced their news as the couple celebrates the father-to-be's 19 Emmy nominations.

"42 and pregnant is quite something," Peet told Us Magazine when asked about her big reveal. "I'll be taking these heels off in a minute," she joked.

News that Peet and Benioff are expecting spread after the actress appeared on the Emmy's red carpet in a flowy light pink Giambattista Valli dress that displayed her baby bump.

This will be the third child for 42-year-old Peet and 43-year-old Benioff, who already have daughters Frances, 7, and Molly, 4.

"They're pretty excited," Peet reportedly told Us about her kids. "The older one is pretty excited, the middle one is not so sure."

Peet, who will reportedly star in the upcoming HBO comedy pilot "Togetherness," according to Deadline, took somewhat of a break from acting recently to focus on acting.

The actress recently made her playwriting debut by penning "The Commons of Pensacola," which ran off-Broadway in New York at the Manhattan Theatre Club. The play starred Blythe Danner and Sarah Jessica Parker.

Peet is also in the process of writing a children's book, which the Huffington Post reports will focus on "her own experiences growing up Jewish in mainstream America."

In addition to Peet and Benioff's baby news, the "Game of Thrones" showrunner is also celebrating 19 nominations for the hit HBO series.

In April, Benioff and his executive producing partner D.B. Weiss talked to Deadline about creating the dramatic fourth season of "Game of Thrones."

"It was great, knowing we'd be going out on so many climactic events. It was also terrifying," Benioff and Weiss told Deadline.

With all the appreciation from the Emmy's this year, it seems that their work has paid off. And Benioff has quite a few reasons to be excited.
