Ansel Elgort Girlfriend Violetta Komyshan Too Demanding? ‘Hectic Schedule’ Cited As Reason For ‘The Fault In Our Stars’ Actor’s Split With Longtime Sweetheart
Ansel Elgort's girlfriend Violetta Komyshan was once deemed lucky by some girls for winning the young actor's heart. However, the two have reportedly parted ways because of Elgort's hectic filming commitments.
According to Us Weekly's insider, the 20-year-old was left with no choice but to sacrifice his relationship with the ballerina.
"They tried to navigate his commitments, but between filming and press for the movies [it got difficult]," said the insider. As opposed to rumors that Ansel Elgort's girlfriend Violetta Komyshan was demanding, the source said that the split was "amicable."
The "Divergent" actor did his best to keep his relationship with Komyshan as private as possible. When he started taking big projects, he deleted photos of him and Komyshan on his social media accounts.
Nonetheless, they made their relationship public when they attended the Paris Fashion Week in June 2014.
"Violetta was extremely excited to go to Paris. She's very into fashion but she was also looking forward to some quality time with Ansel," one source previously told the same publication.
Ansel Elgort's girlfriend Violetta Komyshan was his schoolmate at Fiorello LaGuardia High School. Both of them starred together in a dancing commercial for fashion designer Amanda Uprichard's Spring 2013 collection.
Meanwhile, the New York-born actor appears to be not lacking in terms of projects. The actor is currently filming "Insurgent" where he reprises his role as Caleb. He also finished filming "Men, Women, and Children" slated for release this October.
"It's been a really amazing year for sure. This is what I love to do and it is all working out and it is amazing. I missed [high school] graduation [to do] my first movie 'Carrie' and then I went to 'Divergent', 'Fault in Our Stars,' and then this movie, 'Men Women and Children,'" he recently told ABC's "Good Morning America."
