"Glee" season 6 spoilers reveal that the New Directions are set to reclaim their former glory as the original cast Rachel and Kurt leave the Big Apple to return to their roots.

Fox released the official press release which offered plenty of "Glee" season 6 spoilers. Per Hypable, the synopsis reads:

This season, after her humiliating failure as a TV actress, New Directions' original star, RACHEL BERRY (Golden Globe Award nominee Lea Michele), comes home to Lima to figure out what she wants to do next. Upon discovering that SUE SYLVESTER (Emmy Award winner Jane Lynch) has banished the arts at McKinley, Rachel takes it upon herself to reinstate and lead the glee club. Meanwhile, BLAINE ANDERSON (Darren Criss), SAM EVANS (Chord Overstreet) and WILL SCHUESTER (Matthew Morrison) have all found surprising new gigs in Ohio.

TVLine also dished out "Glee" season 6 spoilers when it reported that "Kurt will follow Miz Berry back home, helping to return New Directions to its former glory."

As to Will Schuester and Blaine Anderson, the TVLine hinted that the former will lead the Vocal Adrenaline, while Blaine will be the leader of the Warblers.

It seems production has already started for the last season of Ryan Murphy's creation. Lea Michele tweeted on August 27: "First up.. recording session with @alxanders... So excited to be singing one of my all time FAVORITE songs! #GleeSeason6."

Earlier, TVLine has dished out "Glee" season 6 spoilers when it reported the return of Max Adler who will reprise his role as Dave Karofsky. Fans of the show know Dave Karofsky as the closet gay who used to Bully Kurt and Blaine.

Kurt and Blain survived the Dave Karofsky saga and they have forged a strong long-distance relationship and finally entered season 6 as an engaged couple.

Max Adler is poised to appear in "at least four of the show's final 13 episodes, The Hollywood Reporter said.
