Kate Mara and Max Minghella Break Up! Couple Part Ways And Keep Busy After 4 Years Together
Another day. Another Hollywood break up.
"House of Cards" star Kate Mara and "The Social Network" actor Max Minghella have reportedly split after 4 years of dating.
US Weekly confirmed the split after Mara attended the 2014 Emmy Awards without her longtime boyfriend, instead bring stylist pal Johnny Wujek.
"Max and Kate have broken up and gotten back together a few times over the course of their relationship, but this one looks like it's sticking," a source told US Weekly. "The relationship just ran its course."
Mara, 31, and Minghella, 28, were allegedly introduced by Kate's younger sister, Rooney Mara, on the set of "The Social Network" in 2009.
The redheaded actress didn't let the break up stop her from enjoying a round of entertainment industry outing this past week.
After the Emmys, where Mara was nominated for Best Guest Actress in a Drama Series, the star appeared at the Venice International Film Festival where she posed with Lena Dunham and Kirsten Dunst on the red carpet, stealing the show in a champagne-colored frock.

Mara also spent time with Wujek and "Girls" star Dunham, smiling in her stylist's picture as the trio sailed around the canals of Venice.
Meanwhile, Minghella, son of the late-British film director Anthony Minghella, has been busy after the break up. In addition to promoting his new film "About Alex," he recently revealed on Instagram that he is filming a new episode of "The Mindy Project."
Minghella also announce recently that he has written the screenplay for an adaptation of psychological thriller "The 9th Life of Louis Drax." The film, of which he is also a producer, will star "Fifty Shades of Grey" actor Jamie Dornan.
