Robin Thicke Lives It Up On Labor Day: ‘Blurred Lines’ Singer Ignores Police After Neighbors Complain About Noise, Gets Slammed With Ticket

Rumor has it Robin Thicke partied hard over Labor Day weekend. The "Blurred Lines" singer reportedly received a visit from the police after his neighbors complained about his music being too loud.

According to Perezhilton.com, the LAPD arrived at Thicke's Hollywood Hills mansion in the early hours of Tuesday morning.

TMZ reports that Thicke appeared drunk and ignored the police officers when they arrived on the scene. The publication also claims that the 37-year-old musician agreed to lower the volume but after the officers walked away, Thicke turned the sound back up on the music.

Cops then wrote the musician a ticket for a noise violation.

According to the Daily Mail, a source close to Thicke said the singer "apologized to police."

An insider told TMZ, however, that the incident marked the second time police had been called to Thicke's house that week.

Thicke is currently promoting his album, "Paula," which is named after his wife Paula Patton. Thicke and Patton split in February after nine years of marriage.

Patton recently resurfaced after months of laying-low following her divorce. The actress made an appearance at HBO's Emmys party last week at the Pacific Design Center in West Hollywood.

E! News reported that the "Mission: Impossible - Ghost Protocol" star appeared to be "in good spirits," enjoying herself as she mingled at the event.

Patton and Thicke were childhood sweethearts and had what appeared to be a rare, lasting relationship in Hollywood.

After the couple announced their split, Thicke went on a public crusade to win back his beloved wife. The singer not only named an album after his wife but broadcast his feelings towards her in the single "Get Her Back."
