Mariah Carey Nick Cannon Divorce Over Carey Look-Alike Jasmine Sanders? Did Affair Trigger Mental Breakdown?

Rumors have been circulating for weeks that Nick Cannon’s philandering may have been what killed his marriage to Mariah Carey, but we may have just discovered who the other woman was. Reports have surfaced linking Cannon to Jasmine Sanders, a 23-year-old model who, as it turns out, looks a lot like the comedian’s pop diva wife. This new revelation left some wondering: could this betrayal have something to do with Carey’s reported fragile mental state?

The latest issue of Star Magazine reports that Cannon has been spotted cavorting around town with the younger model a lot lately. Sources close to the America’s Got Talent host say he is even paying the rent for her Los Angeles apartment, and has been for months. Possibly even more troubling for Carey, Sanders posted a beach photo on social media in July that looks remarkably like the photo on the cover of the singer’s new album, I Am Mariah…The Elusive Chanteuse. In the photo, the model even wears a nude crocheted swimsuit; nearly identical to the one on Carey’s on the album cover, which is also set on a beach.

As if that weren’t enough, rumor has it Cannon has been involved with a second mistress, dancer Brittany Daily. Sources have linked the two together, though Daily denies there is any romantic connection. The Wild N’ Out Girl took to Twitter, saying, “Let me just address this right now.. I’ve never had an inappropriate relationship with Nick, never been in a room alone with Nick. He’s my boss and a friend, that’s it. Idk where this rumor is coming from. That’s some crazy sh***.. Smh.”

Throughout the course of the very public collapse of Cannon and Carey’s marriage, many reports have suggested Carey may be suffering another mental breakdown, as she did in 2001. Sources have said that Cannon feels the star is “toxic” to be around, and has even expressed concern that her behavior is having a negative impact on the well being of the couple’s three-year-old twins, Monroe and Moroccan. If the rumors of his straying are true, maybe the comedian needs to look no further than himself to find the root cause of Carey’s troubles.
