Is Prince Harry Dating Joss Stone? British Soul Singer Dishes On Her Alleged Royal Love Interest
Could Prince Harry's love life be blossoming once again? Well, despite recent speculation that the red-headed royal, who is set to turn 30 this month, may be dating soul singer Joss Stone, the answer appears to be no.
But Stone has plenty to say about her royal pal.
Stone recently spoke with CBS Detroit about the British prince, affirming, "I'm definitely not secretly dating Prince Harry."
When asked about her relationship with Harry, the songstress gave a detailed explanation about their publicized friendship.
"I know him, but to say I know him well is a bit far-fetched," said Stone. "I'm not having a pint with him every Friday in the pub, if you know what I mean. But he's a lovely person, always very polite."
In terms of Harry's personality, Stone added, "He's full of life, he does wonderful things for charity. He's a really good spirit and I'm glad that he's Prince of England. Good old Harry! He's a darling."
Rumors of romance between the pair have sprung up as of late, as Harry is approaching his 30th birthday on Sept. 15.
The son of Prince Charles and the late Princess Diana has had two serious relationships in the public eye. He dated Chelsy Davy, 28, on and off for several years. The two parted ways in 2009. Harry then dated Cressida Bonas, 25, for two years before splitting up in April this year.
In an interview with ITV News, Joss reflected on the difficulties Harry must face in terms of balancing his love life and constant media attention.
"There is a lot that comes with it - who is judging you, people talking about you who don't know what they are talking about, pictures of you online," said 27-year-old Joss.
"You have to make a change, to not care. It is easy for me to say - I don't care."
So, it doesn't sound like there's another royal wedding in the cards anytime soon. But, on the bright side, if Harry really is single, women all over the world can resume their dreams of becoming the next Kate Middleton.
