News about Robert Pattinson dating Tahliah Barnett continue to swirl and according to reports, the 26-year-old songstress is the "Twilight" hunk's first serious girlfriend following his much publicized break up with Kristen Stewart.

Robert Pattinson dating Tahliah Barnett rumors intensified when The Daily Mail reported the two recently headed to the Bowery hotel in New York. Barnett, who also goes by the name FKA Twigs, reportedly captivated the British actor because of her modesty.

"The main thing for Tahliah is that the relationship remains low key. She wants to be known for her music, not just as 'Robert Pattinson's girlfriend.' She's worried about being bogged down by constant comparisons to Kristen," claimed one source to The Sun.

Apart from her musical prowess, FKA Twigs is also known for being a backing dancer to several artists including Ed Sheeran, Jessi J, and Kylie Minogue. In 2011, she also appeared on BBC's comedy sketch, "Beyonce Wants Groceries."

She has just released her debut album entitled "LP1" which she also produced and directed. As per Pitchfork, Barnett's pseudonym describes her dancing skills: "Her joints snap so loudly and quickly that it sounds like a bag of marbles spilling onto a wood floor."
