Johnny Depp’s Girlfriend Amber Heard Chic In Black Gown For GQ Awards; ‘3 Days To Kill’ Actress Gets Recognition From Elysium

Johnny Depp's girlfriend Amber Heard is all chic in a black gown for the GQ awards, as the "3 Days to Kill" actress gets recognition from The Art of Elysium.

The Us Weekly published a photo of Johnny Depp's girlfriend Amber Heard wearing a strapless black dress and holding hands with her man during the 2014 GQ Men of the Year Awards on September 2 in London.

"The couple - engaged since January - were photographed holding hands as they exited The Royal Opera House," the magazine said. "The 'Yoga Hosers' actor was on hand to present the Icon Award to musician Iggy Pop during the show."

According to the magazine, the last time Johnny Depp and girlfriend Amber Heard walked the red carpet together was in May this year during the Costume Institute Gala in New York City.

Meanwhile, Johnny Depp's girlfriend Amber Heard will be honored with the Spirit of Elysium award by the charity organization, The Art of Elysium, for volunteering both her time and money for the advocacy. Accordingly, she donated music equipment and several costumes for the youth beneficiaries.

The Hollywood Reporter said that the charity group helps around 40,000 sick kids in Los Angeles and New York City annually through different workshops on music, art and film.

Johnny Depp's girlfriend Amber Heard told the website, "When I first moved to L.A., I was looking for a way to help. But since I didn't have any money, my time was all I could offer," she said.

She will join previous winners such as James Franco, her co-star in "Adderall Diaries," Scarlett Johansson, Billy Idol, Miley Cyrus and Mark Wahlberg.

For his part, James Franco said of his involvement in The Art of Elysium: "I love that I was able to raise money to help talented young filmmakers and also give the money from sales to charity. It was an amazing situation."
