Chris Pratt Shirtless Workout Stud Misses Pitch At Cubs Game, 'Guardians' Star Proves Lovability Singing To Chicago Crowd While Filming 'Parks & Rec' Season 7 [VIDEO]

"Guardians of the Galaxy" star Chris Pratt has proven once again that he is morphing into America's most loveable celebrity. It's impossible not to like the down-to-earth "Parks and Recreation" actor - case in point, his recent appearance at a Chicago Cubs game where he threw the first pitch and lead spectators in an endearing rendition of "Take Me Out to the Ballgame." He didn't necessarily do a great job at either, but somehow we love him all the more for it.

While Chris Pratt is not necessarily known for his athletic prowess, he certainly has shaped up in the past year. With a strict workout routine and a healthy diet, Pratt shed over 60 pounds and gained a whole lot of muscle for his role as Peter Quill in "Guardians of the Galaxy." Posting shirtless selfies became his jam, and he appeared in magazines such as "Esquire" and "Men's Fitness" showing off his muscular body and sharing his workout secrets. The shirtless stud's transformation has gained him a whole slew of new fans, and the goofy actor has grown into an overnight A-lister.

Pratt, who is currently in Chicago filmed the 7th and final season of the NBC hit comedy series "Parks and Recreation," took some time out of his filming schedule with Aziz Ansari to make an appearance at a Cubs baseball game. As Huffington Post wrote, "Pratt had one job to do as he stepped out onto the Chicago Cubs' Wrigley Field on Sept. 3: throw the first pitch of the game. But even when the "Guardians of the Galaxy" star totally missed home plate, no one cared. Not even a little bit. Because he's Chris Pratt and he's adorable and charming and good even when he's bad."

Remember the video of Chris Pratt rapping "Forget About Dre" that went viral last month due to its sheer awesomeness? Well, it looks like the actor turned rapper can also carry a tune. Later on in the game, "Jurassic World" actor Pratt "took it upon himself to sing 'Take Me Out to the Ball Game' for the crowd during the seventh inning stretch and it was pretty much adorable," according to Us Weekly.

Chris Pratt belted out the song with confidence and enthusiasm - and his positive attitude was not lost on the audience! Check out a video of both the first pitch and Pratt's rendition of the famous baseball chant below:
