Ellen Page’s Rumored Girlfriend Shailene Woodley Claims She Has No Teen Obsession; ‘Insurgent’ Actress Teases ‘Divergent’ Sequel ‘Pretty Emotional’

Ellen Page's rumored girlfriend Shailene Woodley has claimed that she has no teen obsession with the opposite sex as the "Insurgent" actress teased that the "Divergent" sequel is "pretty emotional."

According to HollywoodLife, which interviewed Ellen Page's rumored girlfriend Shailene Woodley, the 22-year-old did not exactly have a normal teenage life after getting the critics' attention in "The Secret Life of the American Teenager" while she was just 15 years old.

This translated to her outlook in life as she told the website: "I never had a teen crush. Teen obsessions? You know its funny. I never had posters on my wall. I was really obsessed with sewing as a teenager. True story!"

Meanwhile, Shailene Woodley and Theo James sat down with Hero Complex of the LA Times to talk about the "Divergent" sequel titled "Insurgent." The actress who plays Tris on the film said that the second installment of the series is going to be "pretty emotional."

Theo James, who plays love interest Four, echoed her statement as he said that there's nothing "cheesy" about the film's emotionality.

"There's real stakes behind it, and sometimes that's hard to find in spectacular situations. If you're watching these movies that are spectacles, which are fun and it's about this thing and escapism, sometimes the crux of the emotionality gets lost," he said.

But Ellen Page's rumored girlfriend Shailene Woodley said that it's still about Tris and her journey from being an ordinary girl into fulfilling her destiny.

"I love that the movie follows her arc and it follows this young girl who starts from a very vulnerable place and in the end is still in a very vulnerable place but a very different place internally," she said. "I love that you get to watch her grow and learn certain skill sets."

"I think it's a great example of whatever your cause is for young girls that you don't have to start somewhere, you can always aim to get somewhere," Shailene Woodley told LA Times.
