‘The Blacklist’ Season 2 Spoilers: Red’s Past Exposed? Upcoming Series Premiere Focuses On James Spader’s Character

"The Blacklist" season 2 spoilers hint of a backstory on Red as the upcoming series premiere will focus on James Spader's mysterious character.

According to "The Blacklist" season 2 spoilers from TVLine, the show will introduce Glen, who is most likely a midget but with ties to Reddington. The website also mentioned Zoe, who has yet to be cast, described as "worn but pretty" who knows Red's mysterious past.

The network already released a synopsis for the premiere episode which is going to be called "Lord Baltimore."

"Red continues to battle Berlin (guest star Peter Stormare) and faces a new threat from a man named Lord Baltimore. An important person comes back from the past into Red's world. Meanwhile, Liz (Megan Boone) tries to move forward with her life after her showdown with Tom (Ryan Eggold)," the synopsis reads.

The Cartermatt site claimed that the premiere episode will show Krysten Ritter of "Don't Trust the B-- in Apartment 23." Also Mary-Louise Parker ("Weeds") will also show up in the same episode.

"She will be around for a little while in the character of Naomi, who has at least some sort of tie to James Spader's character. One of the real mysteries to come out of this story will just be what sort of connection this really is," the website added.

Krysten Ritter will play Rowan Mills, who is described to be a troubled analyst working at a data security firm. It's not clear however what role she will play and how she will impact Red Reddington or Elizabeth.

The Examiner revealed some "The Blacklist" season 2 spoilers when it said that Tom won't make any appearance, at least during the early episodes as the show will focus on Red initially. But it doesn't mean that Tom is forgotten as he's sure to complicate the life of Elizabeth one again.
