‘NCIS’ Season 12 Spoilers: Gibbs And McGee To Face Lev Gorn’s Character Anton Yelic? Coast Guard Returns On Set

"NCIS" season 12 spoilers reveal that Gibbs and McGree will be pitted against Russian Deputy Ambassador Anton Yelic as the Coast Guard investigator Abigail Borin returns to the show.

In the "NCIS" season 12 spoilers from Deadline, Lev Gorn has been cast as Anton Yelic who might cross over to the spinoff "NCIS: New Orleans." The actor was last seen in "The Americans" and will next be featured in "Once Upon A Time in Queens."

Showrunner Gary Glasberg earlier told TVLine that the premiere episode will show Gibbs and McGee in Russia to try to control a "really significant crisis." During the episode, a new villain to be played by Alex Veadow will emerge.

More "NCIS" season 12 spoilers were revealed by UK's UnrealityTV as it reported that Diane Neal will reprise her role as Abigail Borin. Her character is described as the "female version" of Leroy Jethro Gibbs.

Pauley Perrette (Abbey) vetted the news when she took to Twitter to post a picture of her posing with Diane Neal. She then captioned the photo: "LOOK WHO'S ON #NCIS SET!!! @DianeNeal It's Abby and Abby!!! Yay! Love!"

"Her last appearance occurred in the season 11 episode 'Oil and Water' when she helped the team solve an oil rig bombing, while she also hinted that she would like to apply to NCIS in the future," the site said.

Cartermatt dished out more "NCIS" season 12 spoilers when it said that the premiere episode will offer a chance for DiNozzo to become a leader while Gibbs is out with McGee trying to control a threat. It also said that there would be a new adversary who will be introduced during this episode who could refer to Alex Veadow's character.

The synopsis for the premiere reads: "Gibbs and McGee travel to Russia to safely escort home an 'NCIS' computer engineer connected to classified intel, but their mission is compromised and they are forced to go off the grid while hunted by a Russian mercenary group."
