Taylor Swift Pens New Song ‘Bad Blood’ About Celebrity ‘Enemy’! ‘Shake It Off’ Songstress Talks About New Album ‘1989’ And Awkward Feud

It appears Taylor Swift has an enemy. The "Shake If Off," singer recently dished to Rolling Stone Magazine about her feud with another famous songstress and the track she wrote about it, "Bad Blood."

But don't expect Swifty to name names.

"For years, I was never sure if we were friends or not," Swift said of her mysterious celebrity adversary in an interview with Rolling Stone.

"She would come up to me at awards shows and say something and walk away, and I would think, 'Are we friends, or did she just give me the harshest insult of my life?'"

According to Swift, the rivalry has mostly consisted of the other, unnamed, star targeting her. However, after Swift's supposed enemy turned her devious ways up a notch, the "I Knew You Were Trouble" star decided to put her feelings in a song.

"She did something so horrible I was like, 'Oh, we're just straight-up enemies.' And it wasn't even about a guy! It had to do with business. She basically tried to sabotage an entire arena tour. She tried to hire a bunch of people from under me. And I'm surprisingly non-confrontational-you would not believe how much I hate conflict. So now I have to avoid her. It's awkward, and I don't like it."

Swift then wrote "Bad Blood," which will appear on her upcoming album "1989" when it's released on Oct. 27, 2014. The singer devised the lyrics in an effort to put the foe on blast for her misdeeds.

"Sometimes the lines in a song are lines you wish you could text-message somebody in real life," Swift told Rolling Stone. "I would just be constantly writing all these zingers - like, 'Burn. That would really get her.' And I know people are going to obsess over who it's about, because they think they have all my relationships mapped out. But there's a reason there are not any over call-outs in that song. My intent was not to create some gossip-fest. I wanted people to apply it to a situation where they felt betrayed in their own lives."

Although Swift also explained that she wanted fans to know the song is about another female in order to keep them from assuming the lyrics are about a scorn-inducing boyfriend, she admitted to the magazine that the situation with the star did involve her personal life.

"But I don't think there would be any personal problem if she weren't competitive," vowed Swift.
