Person Of Interest Season 4 Spoilers: Characters Go On Separate Lives? Reese And Shaw Struggle With New Lives
"Person of Interest" season 4 spoilers reveal that the characters will try to lead separate lives in order to not endanger each other, but Reese and Shaw will struggle with their new identities.
Jim Caviezel teased "Person of Interest" season 4 spoilers to Buddy TV when he said they will be underground at the start of the season and will go on separate lives.
"The Samaritan machine is very powerful," he said. "One wrong move and we expose ourselves and the entire operation.
He said they are not equipped, they have no ammunitions and no money, and they have to talk in a certain code in order to throw off the machine.
"It's the 'Empire Strikes Back.' The Empire is Samaritan in this case," he said, referring to the "Star Wars" story arc.
Showrunner Greg Plagemen also dished out "Person of Interest" season 4 spoilers to the same Buddy TV interview as he said that Shaw and Reese will struggle with their current situation.
"It's like caging a lion. It's like telling a shark to stop swimming. I think that becomes untenable for for those characters," he said.
During the San Diego Comic-Con, Jim Caviezel said that Reese as well as the other characters Detective Fusco, Harold Finch and Sameen Shaw are now left to their own devices but they have to find ways to survive.
He described Reese as somebody who's willing to sacrifice his soul by killing bad guys so that others won't have the burden of guilt by getting blood on their hands.
Executive producer Jonathan Nolan talked "Person of Interest" season 4 spoilers to TV Guide as he said that Reese and Shaw don't really like their routine jobs and will struggle to keep incognito.
Finch will also have some self-doubts next season, as Jonathan Nolan said: "Finch has come to a place of doubting the intentions of his creation. Finch has been much more measured in his belief in what his creation is doing. He's a lot more conflicted about it and that conflict will only continue."
