'My Hero Academia' Anime Japanese Voice Cast And Trailer News!

If you've always felt a bit average among a sea of amazingly powerful people, then chances are you'll like "My Hero Academia."

After all, the main character of this series lacks special powers in a world where everyone else has them.

According to reports, two new Japanese voice cast members have been announced for the upcoming "My Hero Academia" anime adaptation. In addition, to the voice cast announcement, it has also been confirmed that the first trailer for the anime series will begin streaming some time before the week ends.

Anime News Network reports that Daiki Yamashita has been added the "My Hero Academia" Japanese voice cast as main character Izuku Midoriya. Additionally, Kenta Miyake is set to voice the character of All-Might.

According to Crunchyroll, the "My Hero Academia" anime series will be directed by Kenji Nagasaki. Yousuke Kuroda will handle the scripts for the series and Yoshiko Umakoshi will provide the character designs.

"My Hero Academia" was originally a manga series by Kohei Horikoshi. The series is currently running in Weekly Shonen Jump. Viz Media is simultaneously publishing the chapters and released the first volume of the manga in August.

The story of "My Hero Academia" is described by My Anime List as follows:

"People are not born equal, a realization that 4-year-old Midoriya Izuku faced when bullied by his classmates who had unique special powers. Izuku was one of the rare cases where he was born with absolutely no unique powers. This did not stop Izuku from pursuing his dream, a dream of becoming a great hero like the legendary All-Might."

It goes on:

"To become the great hero he hopelessly wants to become, he now will join the ranks of one of the highest rated 'Hero Academies' in the country: Yueiko. With the help of his idol All-Might, will he be able to claim the ranks and become a true hero?"
