Gong Yoo Is In The Middle Of A Bloody Battle In New ‘Goblin’ Stills

The highly anticipated drama that brings back the writer/director of the hit phenomenon, 'Descendants Of The Sun,' has brought some bloody new stills to fans.

The new stills give way to star Gong Yoo's first ever historical drama. While the majority is filmed in the present, the new scenes show the past of the famed goblin. The scene was shot in September in North Jeolla Province, it depicts an epic battle with Gong Yoo in full display with long hair and heavy armor.

Gong Yoo explained "I was very nervous because this is my first time in a historical drama. I wasn't used to the makeup and costumes, but it was okay. This is an important scene in the early part of the drama. Please look forward to it."

The drama, which is set to air December 2nd, is about an immortal goblin who must find a human bride to become mortal. He stumbles upon a girl (Kim Go Eun) with a mysterious fate as well as the grim reaper (Lee Dong Wook) who has amnesia. BTOB's Sungjae also joins the cast as a rich heir.
