iPhone 6 Rumors: Apple’s Budget iPhone Release Date Before iPhone 6 And iPhone 5S, To Come In Five Colors

The budget iPhone may come in multiple colors, and may have a release date before both the iPhone 5S and iPhone 6.

Rumors of the budget iPhone and iPhone 6 have been spreading for the past few months, and have come to a head last week, as Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) approaches. The highly anticipated Apple event is scheduled for June 10-14 in San Francisco. Although the event will focus on software announcements, fans are hoping for some confirmation of iPhone 6 and iPhone 5S rumors.

In an investor's note released on Thursday, Brian White, a trusted Topeka Apple analyst, suggested that the low-cost iPhone, or iPhone Mini, would come in five different colors.

White believes that four of the five colors will be white, black, pink and blue, according to CNET.

Although most rumors suggest the budget iPhone will be released at the same time as the iPhone 5S in September of this year, White expects the lower cost iPhone to arrive earlier, although a specific release date wasn't given.

The budget iPhone would be aimed at developing markets where premium iPhones are out of the price range for most people.

White also stated that he expects the iPhone 6 to launch in 2014 and to have a larger screen size than the iPhone 5's 4-inch display.

Apple hasn't commented on any iPhone rumors.
