Apple WWDC 2013: Apple Store Is Down Pending Announcements Of New MacBooks, iOS 7, No iPhones In Sight

As part of tradition in every new WWDC announcement, the Apple Store is down, and it’s no different in this year’s WWDC 2013 convergence at San Francisco’s Moscone Center.

Mashable reports that the Apple’s online store went down Monday morning ahead of the big event. The tech giant typically takes the store down for a few hours prior to the launch event in order to add new products to its system.

The homepage of Apple says, “We’ll be back. We’re busying updating the Apple Store for you and will be back soon.

Apple is expected to announce a new generation of MacBooks and the release of the iOS 7 for it’s mobile and tablet devices. A streaming radio service, dubbed iRadio, is also rumored to be divulged at the keynote speech of Apple CEO Tim Cook.

Despite rumors, no major tech source has cited if the iPhones 5s or iPhones 6 release date will be disclosed.

The WWDC is traditionally known for new software updates, although Apple has also used the event to launch some of its hardware products.
