Apple Live Streaming Keynote Address During WWDC 2013 [VIDEO]

The WWDC (World Wide Developers Conference) takes place June 10 and Apple has announced that it will be streaming their WWDC keynoted address via Apple TV and Apple.com but sources report that a live stream will also be available via Apple's free WWDC app for iOS.

Apple issued a press release at 8:30 am ET confirming the live stream event.

"Apple® will broadcast its WWDC 2013 keynote address using Apple's industry-leading HTTP Live Streaming, which is based on open standards. Viewing requires Safari® on iOS 4.2 or later on any iPhone®, iPad®, iPad mini or iPod touch®; Safari 4 or later on Mac® OS X® v10.6 or later. Streaming via Apple TV® requires second or third generation Apple TV with software 5.0.2 or later. The live webcast will begin at 10:00 a.m. PDT on Monday, June 10, 2013 at www.apple.com." The press release stated.

An"Apple Events" tile prominently showing the WWDC 2013 logo was added to the Apple TV interface overnight. When users click on the tile it then reveals that Apple will indeed be broadcasting a live video stream of the event for Apple TV users. A similar channel appeared before Apple's iPad mini event last October.
