Beyoncé Sent Kim Kardashian A Swarovski Crystal-Studded High Chair

Beyoncé couldn't make it to Kim Kardashian's extravagant baby shower last week, but she made up for it by sending her a high chair covered in Swarovski crystals. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have a similar high chair for their 17-month-old daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

A source told The Sunday Mirror that the gift was one that "could not be outdone."

"Beyoncé and Jay-Z [gave Kim] a £9,000 (approximately $11,800) Swarovski crystal-studded high chair, designed by Carla Monchen," the source said, HollywoodLife.com reports.

The source explained that Beyoncé couldn't attend the baby shower because she is preoccupied on her world tour.

Beyoncé's daughter and Kim's baby will have a lot in common. Kim and Kanye spent $4,000 on a Lucite Vetro crib for their daughter - the same crib that Blue Ivy has in her room, a source told Us Weekly.

Another source revealed to HollywoodLife.com in January that Kanye wants his child to live in style.

"Kanye is trying to go over-the-top with the baby room though because this is their first kid and he wants everything to be real first class," the insider said.

In other news, the soon-to-be parents seem happy as ever. Kanye celebrated his 36th birthday on June 8. Kim posted a romantic message along with a sweet photo collage of the couple on her Instagram.

"He thought the world of it," a source told HollywoodLife.com. "Something low key and sentimental is all the guy wanted from Kim."

Kim posted with the collage: "Happy Birthday to my best friend, the love of my life, my soul!!!! I love you beyond words!"

Unfortunately, the couple couldn't be together on the big day; Kanye was in New York City to host the Governor's Ball and Kim is too close to her due date to fly from California.
