Nile Rodgers Reveals Madonna Wanted To Sleep With Him: Daft Punk Guitarist Quit Booze And Drugs After Passing Out At Madonna’s Birthday Party

Nile Rodgers, the legendary guitarist on Daft Punk's hit single "Get Lucky," revealed that Madonna was upset at him for not wanted to sleep with her in the 1980s, but also mentioned that he quit drinking and drugs after he passed out at her 38th birthday party, according to the Scottish Sun.

"I don't remember any of this. But I was told I was carried out of Madonna's house," Rodgers told the Scottish Sun.

"It was the most embarrassing night of my life. I have never had a drink or taken drugs since."

The 60-year-old guitarist said 54-year-old Madonna was upset that he never made a pass at her when producing her 20-million-selling "Like A Virgin" album in the 1980s, according to the Scottish Sun.

He said that she once approached him on an elevator and asked him "Why don't you want to f*ck me?"

"I was like, 'What did you just say to me?' She was wondering why I had not propositioned her. She couldn't understand that. It was like, 'Everybody wants me'," Rodgers told the Scottish Sun.

"One time I slept with a really beautiful artist I was working with and it was a really wrong thing to do. So, I didn't work like that."

Although Rodgers claims that Madonna wanted to sleep with him, he also mentioned that the two were close friends and collaborated together on several different projects.

Rodgers also said that Madonna was one of the most driven artists he ever met during the 1980s, saying that she always told herself she was going to be famous.
