Pokemon X And Y Update: New Pokemon Reveal on June 16 And The Pokemon TV App

Along with the highly anticipated E3 Pokemon events tomorrow, recent news has landed that new Pokemon will debut on the June 16 broadcast of the Japanese show "Pokemon Smash X & Y Special."

As previously reported, Game Freak director Junichi Masuda will make a special appearance on the episode, which will reportedly discuss new Pokemon, battling methods, and even a new potential Pokemon type.

According to Latino Post, the new battling method could be related to a bonding battle system where the more you your Pokemon in battle, the better they will perform.

In addition, the new type, if any, will most likely be the rumored fairy-type Pokemon that the new Eevee evolution, Sylveon, is a part of.

What new Pokemon will they debut? Catch all the action on June 16 in Japan. If not, Pokejungle will be doing a live update of the event on that day.

In addition, a free Pokemon TV app for the iPad, iPhone, and iPod Touch has debuted called "Pokemon: BW Rival Destinies."

According to Gamasutra, the app reportedly houses short animated videos that introduce the new 3DS game "Pokemon Mystery Dungeon: Gates to Infinity."

Fans of the Pokemon animated series can catch free episodes on the app, with the current season 15 being the most recent additions.

Stayed tuned for more news tomorrow after the E3 Pokemon event.
