‘Destiny’ Trailer Revealed At E3 Live 2013: What To Expect From Sony PS4’s First Person Shooting Game

'Destiny' will be available for Sony PlayStation 4 and PS3, and surprisingly, for Xbox One and Xbox 360 game consoles as well.

The console war heats up between the two gaming industry giants, Microsoft and Sony, as the latter unveiled the next generation shooter game, Destiny, at the E3 video game conference. This game from the creator of Halo is one of the newest and highly anticipated games included in their lineup of new titles for the PS4. Sony introduced the game during their E3 Live 2013 press conference in Los Angeles Convention Center.

Back in February, Bungie announced that the game would be an exclusive title for Sony PS4. So, it was quite a turn-around when the developer revealed that other versions would be made for Xbox One and Xbox 360. Destiny will be available for Xbox One and Sony PS4 users at the end of the year.

The competition gets tougher between Sony PS4 and Microsoft's Xbox One with the introduction of a new game from The Halo developer, Bungie. The president of the game developer stated that though the game is not exclusive with Sony PlayStation consoles, it will have exclusive content.

"Destiny is being developed for PlayStation 3 and PlayStation 4, with both versions available at Destiny's launch. Destiny will also feature exclusive in-game content, only available on PlayStation," he said.

Destiny gamers will take the role of a 'Guardian' of the only remaining safe city on Earth, as he fights mysterious alien rivals both on Earth and beyond. The key goal of Destiny gamers is to get back the territory of humankind as well as become a walking legend in the universe, winning all the mysterious and challenging levels of the game. In Destiny, players should expect a lot of action and shooting as they combat their way to victory against aliens and opponents.

Another thing to look forward to with Sony PS4's shooter game, Destiny, is that it will be both a first person shooting game and in certain instances, will be vehicle based. The appearances of the characters and the vehicles will be class-based. Gamers can customize their avatars according to their preferences.

PlayStation 4's new title, Destiny, as revealed during the E3 Live 2013 press conference, will require internet connection all the time. Bungie explained that because players live in a persistent and shared world, it will constantly be affected by time and the other players. Thus, while playing, game servers need to be updated all the time to seamlessly integrate every change that will emerge through player's actions or through the passage of time.
