Nintendo Direct E3 2013 Reveals New Games For Wii U, Nintendo 3DS: Super Mario 3D Release Date Unveiled

Nintendo Direct showcased a lot of new and exciting updates today during the E3 2013 - Mega Man joining Smash Bros 3DS, Super Mario 3D release date, Mario Kart 8 new features, Bayonetta 2 and more.

A pre-recorded video presentation was made by the famous gaming company from its Kyoto headquarters for the Nintendo Direct E3 2013. The company president led the Nintendo Direct presentation, revealing major updates for the forthcoming games for Nintendo consoles such as Wii U.

Details for the Super Mario 3D were shared during the Nintendo Direct presentation at E3 Live 2013. Updates like new power-ups and features, like turning into a cat to climbs walls, were revealed.

Nintendo direct also announced that Super Mario 3D can now be played by up to four characters, with each of the players having unique moves. And lastly, it was announced that Super Mario 3D World will become available in December for Wii U users.

Nintendo Direct also revealed that Mega Man will join the Super Smash Bros 3DS game franchise that will debut on Wii U and Nintendo 3DS next year. The trailer for Mega Man was shown during Nintendo Direct E3 Live 2013 and it showed Mega Man appearing in his classic 'Blue Bomber' gear, with Mega Buster and his various Robot Master abilities, together with his ever-reliable dog, Rusty.

Some other games to be available soon on Wii U that were included in the Nintendo Direct E3 2013 presentation include Donkey Kong Country, Tropical Freeze, Bayonetta 2 and a new game from Monolith Soft called 'X'.

Nintendo Direct also showed off the latest features for Mario Kart 8 which will be available for Wii U users. According to the presentation, Nintendo's Mario Kart 8 will feature anti-gravity mechanics, allowing Mario to fly through the sky, ride motorcycles and race under water. The video presentation from Nintedo Direct E3 Live 2013 also revealed that Mario Kart 8 will be out in Spring of 2014.
