WWDC 2013: New Mac Pro Unveiled With Shocking Cylindrical Design, Hardware Specs Impressive

Apple showed off a brand new Mac Pro during its WWDC 2013 event.

A new Mac Pro was unveiled during Apple's Worldwide Developers Conference or WWDC 2013. Large portion of the WWDC 2013 on Monday tackled about the latest Mac Pro that Apple will produce later this year.

The Mac Pro that was on display during the WWDC 2013 is a beautiful piece of hardware. It is actually a black cylinder filled with high-tech features such as Intel's powerful processors, fast graphic cards and a host of expansion ports.  The surprising design of the new Mac Pro 2013 is so stunning and many changes and improvements are expected from it compared to the current version of Mac Pro available in the market.

The availability of new Mac Pro models introduced during the WWDC 2013 event from Apple is still vague. No specific Mac Pro release date was give by Apple yet during the Keynote WWDC 2013 presentation. The tech company only stated that it will be available later this year. The new Mac Pro may hit the market on fall but it can be as late as the holiday season of the year.

Pricing for new Mac Pro 2013 was not announced by Apple as well but experts are estimating that it might range from $2000 to $4000. The current entry level Mac Pro is priced at $2499 while the other version with higher specs is worth at around $3799.

The design is definitely a shock in a good and impressive way, with its black cylinder shape made with polished aluminum. This innovative design is totally a huge change from the traditional block-like tower of the current Mac Pro.  

Apple's new Mac Pro 2013 released at the WWDC 2013 is much smaller than the old version of Mac Pro, 9.9 inches in height and 6.6 inches in diameter. The freshest eye candy from Apple at the WWDC 2013 is boasting with awesome features such as 6 Thunderbolt 2 ports, 4 USB ports, a pair of gigabit Ethernet ports, full-sized HDMI connector and a 3.5 mm headphone port. Another hardware specs for the New Mac Pro 2013 include a Xeon E5 chipset from Intel, allowing the configuration of up to 12 cores of processing power. Also, Apple's new Mac Pro 2013 will be twice as fast as the current model.
