Super Smash Bros Revealed At E3 2013: Animal Crossing’s Villager, Mega Man To Join Classic Nintendo Characters [VIDEO]

Super Smash Bros is coming to Wii U and Nintendo 3DS and will feature new characters Villager and Mega Man, according to the Nintendo announcement at the E3 2013 Live conference.

Nintendo announced several games that will soon be in development, including "Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze," "Super Mario 3D World," and "Mario Kart 8," but what the Internet is most excited about it "Super Smash Bros."

Several screenshots for the video game were revealed at E3 2013 showing off fan favorite Nintendo characters in HD, according to Forbes.

The new Super Smash Bros game will reportedly feature the Villager from Animal Crossing and Mega Man, along with Smash Bros classics like Zelda, Kid Icarus, Donkey Kong, Pikachu, Mario, Metroid, Starfox, and Kirby.

Villager from Animal Crossing will allegedly be able to plant Pitfall Seeds to trap his enemies and chop down trees to damage them. Mega Man will be joined by his trusty canine sidekick, Rush.

Nintendo also revealed some of the game's stages at the E3 conference. The classic Battlefield location, set on the train from "Legend of Zelda: Spirit Tracks," is one of the new stages. Mega Man's Dr. Wily Stage, Skyward Sword's Skyloft, what appeared to be Twilight Princess's Kakariko Village, and a Nintendogs level are some of the other stages "Super Smash Bros." will offer, according to IGN Blog.

Super Smash Bros. Next, the nickname for the next game in the Super Smash Bros. series, is expected to be released in 2014. The game is currently in development for Wii U and Nintendo 3DS by Project Sora and Namco Bandai.
