Anna Paquin And Stephen Moyer Kept Twins Out Of Spotlight For Health Reasons, Now Babies’ Names Revealed

Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer leaked the names of their twins at the "True Blood" season six premiere.

Moyer was telling E! News that his older daughter Lilac was going to camp over Father's Day weekend, but that he and wife Paquin would celebrate the day by "hanging out with Charlie and Poppy."

A rep later confirmed the names of the nine-month-old twins: Paquin and Moyer's son's name is Charlie, and their daugher's name is Poppy.

Moyer, 43, told People earlier this week that he and his wife kept their twins out of the public eye for health reasons.

"They came much earlier than we were expecting. They were so fragile in the beginning. We are just trying to protect them," he said.

"[We're] trying to give them as much of a normal upbringing as you can in this town. They didn't choose to be actors - not yet! Who knows what they'll be? It's just a question of wanting to keep that private for them so they can choose," he continued.

According to The Inquisitr, Paquin, 30, wanted to keep their plans for Father's Day a surprise.

"I can't tell you because that would ruin the surprise," Anna Paquin told E! News. "I don't know about [it being a] big surprise, but yes, there are plans."

Moyer and Paquin married in Malibu, California in August 2010 after he proposed in Hawaii the year prior, People reports. "True Blood" returns to HBO on Sunday, June 16.
