Amanda Bynes Twitter Latest News 2013: Cher Apologizes To Amanda Bynes Even Though She Called Her ‘Ugly And A Flop,’ Was Cher Being Sarcastic?

Cher apologized to Amanda Bynes on Twitter for not knowing who she was after the former teen star called her "ugly and a flop," but fans are saying the famed singer might have been purposely sardonic in her response to one of her tweets.

After a fan asked Cher if she was upset that Amanda Bynes called her "ugly and a flop," she responded asking "Who's that?"

Shortly after she tweeted asking who Amanda Bynes was, Cher responded to a tweet the former Nickelodeon star posted a few days ago that read "This is my twitter. I say whatever I want. Thanks!" and apologized for not knowing who Bynes was.

"You got That One Right! Sorry about shade, Sweet-Heart, it was unintentional...Promise," Cher wrote in her response.

Although it seems like Cher might have been sincere in her apology, the famous singer is also known for her history of snappy and sarcastic remarks.

"It's not really an 'apology'. It's more like Cher trying to be nice and not trying to have conflicts with anyone," wrote one fan as a comment on one of E! News' articles about the incident.

Last year, Cher even posted a tweet about Madonna saying "Wtf is mdna."

Cher was won over 285 awards and has been nominated for 315 throughout her career for her work in television, movies, and music.

She has also been the recipient of a Grammy Award, an Emmy Award, three Golden Globe Awards, an Academy Award, the Best Actress Award at the Cannes Film Festival and several others.
