Ke$ha Announces New Tour and Thanks Fans

Most people know singer Ke$ha as the wild pop star she portrays herself to be on stage and through her music. But, a new side to the singer might be revealed during her upcoming tour Warrior in August. Mike Posner will be the opening act for Ke$ha during her Warrior tour. Posner is best known for his hit song Cooler Than Me and is on the same record label as Ke$ha. Posner will begin touring with her on August 6 in Cleveland. Currently, Ke$ha is finishing up her tour with Pitbull before launching her solo tour in July.

In a recent interview, Ke$ha said, "The most important thing I've done is learn to laugh at myself and I try to do that with any negativity coming at me, too. It's hilarious how mean some people get about my silly pop songs."

Ke$ha is known for hits including Tik Tok, Die Young and We R Who We R. But the songs are far from silly, as Ke$ha revealed that her songs' dance beats have actually helped a lot of her fans get into shape.

"I really love that people like to exercise to my music. I want it to bring out the wildness in everyone, and if that encourages you to be a fighter and get fit, that's great," she said. However, Ke$ha herself doesn't listen to her own music while working out, considering it to be too self-indulgent.

Fans are excited for the release date of Ke$ha's new tour, as she is known for being unpredictable. At one of her concerts she threw condoms with her face on the wrapper to the crowd. "People think because I hand out condoms, I must be some sort of ho. That's not the case. I'm a little bit of a kissing slut, but usually I just make out and then run away," she said.

When all is said and done, the biggest presence of her tour is her fans. "Well, first of all, I love you guys. I really do," she told her fans on MTV for the premiere of her "Crazy Kids" video. "Without you here, supporting me and liking my music, I'd still be a waitress, and a very terrible one at that. So, thank you for your love and support. And I really think that I bond with my fans because I feel like we're all kind of in this together," she added.
