Miley Cyrus' Parents Divorcing: Billy Ray Cyrus Refuses To Answer Miley's Calls After Announcement

After 19 years of marriage Billy Ray Cyrus and Leticia "Tish" Cyrus, Miley Cyrus' parents, are filing for divorce citing irreconcilable differences.

According to E! Online, the divorce was initiated by Tish, 51, after a brief reconciliation in 2011. Cyrus filed his paperwork in Nashville, while Tish filed hers in L.A. Superior Court.

"This is a personal matter and we are doing what is in the best interest of our family. We ask that you respect our privacy at this time," read a statement from Cyrus.

But based on Miley's latest tweet, things seemed to have happened without her consideration.

"Since your text and email obviously aren't working would you like to talk like this?" she tweeted to her father yesterday.

Billy Ray and Tish have five children together, including Miley and 13-year-old Noah Lindsey, as well as three stepchildren from Tish's previous marriage.

According to The Hollywood Gossip, Tish is asking for full physical and legal custody of Noah with visitation rights for Billy Ray, in addition to spousal support and attorney's fees.

Billy Ray had begun the petition for divorce three years ago, but withdrew it during their reconciliation.
