Rihanna Topless Billboards Too Hot For Ireland: Locals Covering Up Billboards [Photos & Video]

Billboard images of Rihanna for her Diamonds world tour have been covered up in Ireland. This comes after her famously revealing "We Found Love" music video caused consternation among locals because she was naked while filming on the isle.

In 2011, while filming a music video for her single, "We Found Love" with Scottish DJ Calvin Harris, Rihanna famously bared all in a cornfield.

A 61-year-old farmer, Alan Graham, spotted her stripping down to a bikini made up of red handkerchiefs.

The devoutly religious farmer asked for filming to be halted, and later defended his actions, saying Rihanna's behavior was "inappropriate."

Graham also claimed, "If someone wants to borrow my field and things become inappropriate, then I say, 'Enough is enough.'"

Graham continued, "I wish no ill will against Rihanna and her friends. Perhaps they could acquaint themselves with a greater God."

Mr Graham had agreed for one of his fields in Bangor, County Down, to be used for recording but was not aware what the production team had in mind for Rihanna.

Rihanna is currently in London ahead of her performance at Twickenham Stadium this weekend. Next, the R&B singer from the Barbados will head to Birmingham and then Ireland.

Photos of a topless Rihanna billboard have been plastered all over Dublin, Ireland, for her Diamonds World Tour stop at Aviva Stadium on June 21st.

They're obviously pretty racy, and it's again offending the more parochial Dubliners (tell that to Joyce's Molly Bloom character during his famous stream-of-consciousness chapter as Molly in Ulysses).

Local residents have taken to putting up clothing, sometimes actually stapling it to the offending billboards in question in an attempt to make the normally raunchy singer, who dislikes tops, to be a bit more modest for the locals.

And Paul Duane, who posted the second image, tweeted: "Someone has stapled a dress to a Rihanna poster on Church St. Well done, you complete nutcase."

However twitter user @worldwearyindublin said it was not censorship and said the stunt was more street art.

The original image shows Rihanna with the world apologetic written in black across one breast, with her elbow concealing the other. See above for the pic.

Rihanna has yet to respond to the reaction to the billboards in Ireland, but we doubt she'll change up her sexy ways.
